Pumpkin lobotomy

Yesterday was pumpkin lobotomy and it was great. It absolutely chucked it down. We got soooooo wet it was brilliant- getting wet was half the fun. The quad was full of pumpkins and you picked the one that you wanted and then you carved it. I did a smiley face- I never have been the artists. We had a lovely warm cup of apple cider (non alcoholic- you should have seen the look Helen got when she asked if it had alcohol in hehe). We were meant to go to Homecoming bonfire in the evening but it was canceled due to the weather so we went down main street and looked at all the pumpkins they were putting out. It was soooooo cold but amazing fun. Today is actually pumpkin fest. We are half way through but I will tell you all about that tomorrow because we have fireworks to go to night and the pumpkin count. Can we beat the record???
